Robert B. Wedge, an Atlanta native, is Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Atlanta law firm of Shapiro Fussell Wedge & Martin, LLP.  He served as Managing Partner of that firm from 1987 to 1997.  He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Georgia School of Law.

Mr. Wedge is a seasoned trial lawyer and veteran in resolving disputes through ADR.  He has been engaged in trial practice in numerous state and federal courts for over thirty years.  He has broad experience in litigation involving construction claims, insurance-related claims, professional liability claims, general commercial claims, and personal injury and death claims.  His representation has been very diverse, his having handled cases for, and against, owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, equipment manufacturers, bonding companies, attorneys, general liability and professional liability insurance carriers.  Mr. Wedge has a very impressive record of jury verdicts, non–jury judgments and appellate decisions.  In addition to acting as a mediator, he is also an experienced arbitrator.  He has served as Vice-Chair of the Fidelity and Surety Committee of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association and on the Board of Directors of the Construction Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association.
